BBC Blast NI is giving you the chance to produce your documentary working alongside BBC film crews, using BBC equipment and finishing it all off in BBC edit suites.

This is a unique opportunity to turn your ideas into a short documentary which will be showcased as part of Blast and screened at the Blast NI Film event in February 2009.

The One-2-Watch documentary challenge encourages you to follow the same creative process which BBC producers work though to get their ideas on TV.

Take a look at our easy to follow commissioning brief plus hints and tips on how to develop ideas and sell them to decision makers.

Schools, Colleges and groups of friends are welcome to submit documentary proposals - all ideas submitted will receive feedback. A shortlist of proposals will be drawn up and 10 production teams will be invited to pitch their idea to a panel of BBC Northern Ireland staff.

Two ideas will be selected to go into production. Previous filmmaking experience is not essential. This is your chance to tell compelling stories in new and innovative ways. So what are you waiting for? Follow the link on your right to download the brief which will give you the step by step advice on how to develop your ideas and pitch them.
