Manchester Cathedral International Religious Poetry Competition
For anywone with a religous bent here is a unusual contest coming via Manchester Cathedral.
The contest is for poems that should be ‘broadly religious’, that is, ’spiritual’ in nature.
What I especially like about this contest is that it is open to all faith traditions and even from those struggling to discover their own sense of the sacred.
It might not put much jam on the table but it would be nice to be crowned: Manchester Cathedral Poet of the Year, 2008.
