Pint Size Plays
How much drama or comedy can you pack into a five or ten minute play? Pint-sized Plays is your opportunity to show just how imaginative and original you can be. It can be funny, it can be sad… if it can be performed in a pub, with two or three characters, you could be a winner of Pint-sized Plays.
We’re looking for plays which show that small is beautiful. Plays that use a pub situation in the most interesting, surprising, dramatic or funny way possible. You will need to bear in mind that each pub will be different, and the performance will take place in a bar area, using the tables, chairs etc that are already there. Costumes and additional props of course are entirely up to you, but they should be practicable.
Entries must be received by August 8th - so you have until then to write a play that will delight, amuse, amaze, and thrill audiences in ten minutes or less.
