Welcome to ABC Writers Network a site for and by creative writers
My name is Kevin Hart I’m a researcher and writer. I live and work from home: home in my case is Armagh City, Ireland.
Some years back a local writers group that I chair decided to host a writing contest. At that time I had just completed a part-time evening course, at my local Adult Education Centre, on how to build a website with Dreamweaver. I suggested to the group that we build a small site to advertise the contest
To our surprise we received entries from all over the world - the eventual winner came from the Canada and the runner up from England. To the best of my knowledge it was the first time a local creative writers group in Ireland had went international with their contests.
As a writer and researcher I now run a small series of websites on topics ranging from Creative Writing to Baby Showers. I hope in the future to add more.
From a personal perspective I enjoy gardening and politics and must confess that I’m a developing television addict especial when it comes to information & current affair type of programs plus gardening and wild life programs, I’m also a keen TV comedy fan. Movie wise I enjoy a good thriller.
